Damian and Sharon invite you to experience The Floating Forest, a place of rejuvenation in the old growth forest.  The Floating Forest is set on a private property only 1.5km up Mount Shadforth Road above the beautiful Denmark town.

There are four very private and comfortable one bedroom open plan chalets (and a two bedroom cottage) with luxury features, surrounded by magnificent forest, for a relaxing getaway.

There is so much to do, especially if you’d like to reconnect with nature.  You will be surrounded by an abundance of bird life and kangaroos are regular visitors too.  You are very welcome to explore the old growth forest just a few steps from your chalet.

We are very close to the township of Denmark, not far from Greens Pool & Elephant Rocks and have numerous wineries nearby making The Floating Forest a perfect location to experience the entire Great Southern region.  Ask about our two e-bikes we have for hire.

The Floating Forest is the perfect place to base yourself for your south coast holiday.  A great base for a short break in your Bibbulmun Track adventure, to discover the Great Southern wine region, do the Southern Art & Craft trail, explore Albany and its fabulous restaurants, the Tree Top Walk and Walpole district or the Porongurups.
